Full-timeInformation Technology

We are looking for a talented Data Analyst with 2-4 years of experience to join our growing team. In this client-facing role, you will work closely with engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather and analyse data from various project sources. Your insights will help our teams and clients make data-driven decisions, improve workflows, and identify trends that reduce risk and enhance project performance.

We pride ourselves on being innovative and at the cutting edge of digital construction focusing in the area of construction scheduling, reporting and visualisation. We are keen that our Data Analyst has the same drive and determination to innovate. As part of a dynamic team, you will use tools like PowerBI, Excel, and SQL to develop and maintain reporting dashboards and visualizations. You will also work with Python (or similar programming languages), create and manage data pipelines, contribute to Power Platform and internal app development and all internal and external ML/AI projects. Strong communication skills are essential as you will be interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with internal teams and clients to understand reporting needs and translate them into clear data solutions.
  • Gather, clean, combine and validate data from multiple project sources to ensure it is accurate, consistent and ready for analysis.
  • Design and build Power BI dashboards and reports that clearly communicate project performance and trends to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Use Excel and SQL for data exploration, analysis, and troubleshooting.
  • Help to create and maintain data pipelines (e.g. scheduled data refreshes, automated data flows) to keep reports up to date.
  • Support development of solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. Power Apps, Power Automate) to streamline workflows and data capture.
  • Use basic programming skills (ideally Python) to automate repetitive tasks, transform data, or integrate with APIs where needed.
  • Work as part of a project team, contributing to planning, documentation, and quality checks on data and reports.
  • Communicate findings clearly in meetings, presentations and written summaries, highlighting risks, trends and recommendations.
  • Stay up to date with good practices in data analytics, reporting and the Microsoft ecosystem (Power BI, Power Platform, Azure, etc.).

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Around 2–4 years’ experience in a data analyst or similar role.
  • Strong skills in Power BI: building data models, creating visuals, designing intuitive dashboards.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel (including formulas, lookups, PivotTables or similar).
  • Practical experience with SQL for querying and manipulating data.
  • Some experience of programming, preferably Python, for data transformation, automation or simple integrations.
  • Exposure to creating or maintaining data pipelines / automated data processes (e.g. scheduled refreshes, ETL/ELT workflows).
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (e.g. building simple Power Apps or using Power Automate) or a strong interest and willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain data and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and dealing with client-facing situations (workshops, progress meetings, demos).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured, organised approach.

Desirable

  • Experience in the Construction, Engineering, or technical services sectors.
  • Experience building basic front-end solutions (e.g. Power Apps forms, simple web-based reporting interfaces) is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with concepts such as data warehousing, APIs or cloud data platforms (e.g. Azure) is a plus.
  • Interest or exposure to predictive analytics or basic machine learning concepts (e.g. forecasting, anomaly detection) would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Awareness of BIM / digital engineering workflows or project controls data is a plus, but not required.

What We Offer:

  • A collaborative, innovative, and supportive team environment.
  • Opportunities to develop your skills and grow within the company.
  • The chance to work on cutting-edge data analytics projects in the construction industry.
