We are looking for an AI ENGINEER who will report to Firmware Engineer Coordinator, capable of delivering high-quality Computer Vision and Machine Learning solutions for autonomous robotic systems.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop, train and deploy machine learning models (specifically Computer Vision for semantic segmentation and object detection) to enhance robot autonomy and safety.
  • Collaborate with Firmware Engineers to integrate AI models into embedded environments and real-time architectures.
  • Design and implement algorithms for path planning, navigation, and environment mapping (VSLAM/GNSS-RTK integration).
  • Optimize neural networks for inference on edge devices to ensure low latency and power efficiency.
  • Specify, design, implement and test behavior logic for robot interaction with dynamic garden environments.


Skills & qualifications:


Must Have:

  • Technical background (Computer Science, Robotics, or related field).
  • Experience in AI/ML development and strong skills in Python and C++ programming.
  • Fluent in Deep Learning frameworks and Computer Vision libraries.
  • Fluent in software fundamentals including model optimization (quantization, pruning), data structures, and algorithm development.
  • Fluent in requirements and versioning tools management (Git).
  • Familiar with the embedded deployment process: cross-compilation, edge AI accelerators, and debugging tools.
  • Capable of hands-on data collection, model training, and testing in real-world scenarios.


Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Linux and ROS (Robot Operating System).
  • Knowledge of robotics and IoT systems, including GNSS-RTK navigation and sensor fusion.
  • Experience in synthetic data generation and simulation environments.
