We are looking for an experienced Senior Windows System Engineer - Technical Coordinator to join Capitole for one of our major clients in the financial sector in Luxembourg.
You will work in a highly secure, critical production environment, supporting and coordinating complex Windows Server infrastructures with strict SLA, security, and compliance requirements.
๐ค Responsabilities and Requirements:
- Day-to-day operations management of Windows Server infrastructure.
- Participation in ongoing and new infrastructure projects and mini-projects.
- Collaboration within a multidisciplinary technical team (Windows, VMware, applications, security, advanced troubleshooting, etc.).
- Improvement, reliability enhancement, and automation of systems.
- Handling of Level 3 support tickets.
- Documentation writing and procedural updates.
- Knowledge transfer and mentoring to Level 2 support teams.
- Coordination of inter-team tasks as required.
๐ ๏ธ Technical Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience in IT environments
- Expertise in Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022, 2025)
- Advanced knowledge of PowerShell (automation & scripting)
- Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies:
- Windows Failover Cluster, Active Directory, ADFS, ADCS
- Strong experience with security and cybersecurity best practices in Microsoft environments
- Experience with VMware infrastructures
- Ability to troubleshoot complex system and security-related issues
- General knowledge of Linux systems
- Experience in high-availability, financial or regulated environments
- French and English speaker
โ Plus:
- Knowledge of Networks, DNS, Web Proxy, Firewall technologies.
- Experience with Omnissa Horizon, banking applications, MS Project
