A fast-growing, AI native, B2B tech company is looking for a CTO to take ownership of engineering excellence and technical vision at a critical inflection point. This is a rare opportunity to step into an executive role where your decisions will shape products used by thousands and eventually millions.

The opportunity

The business has found product-market fit and is now scaling. You'll inherit a strong engineering foundation and a team that's hungry to be led well. This isn't a turnaround — it's an acceleration. The incoming CTO will work directly with the CEO and have full autonomy over the technology organisation.

What you'll own

You'll set and execute the technical roadmap, build and scale the engineering organisation, and drive architectural decisions across product and infrastructure. Critically, you'll lead the organisation's AI roadmap, embedding AI into both product and the development lifecycle, accelerating your engineers through intelligent tooling, and integrating AI capabilities directly into core products. You'll act as a genuine thought partner to the business where technology creates competitive advantage, and represent the company externally in the market.

Who we're looking for

You've built and led engineering teams before, ideally across multiple growth stages. You have a proven track record of implementing AI at an organisational level, not experimenting with it, but institutionalising it. Your engineers ship faster because of decisions you've made. You're comfortable with ambiguity, you know when to go deep and when to delegate, and you've worked in environments where speed and quality both matter. You're a strategist who leverages technology to unlock business growth.

Hybrid, from Amsterdam or Berlin.
