Job Description
The Operations Support role and will be responsible for:
- Checking and booking a variety of invoices
- Uploading truck liftings into the system
- Assisting with truck movement reconciliations
- Assisting with month end stock checks
- Assisting in preparation of warehouse stock overviews
- Sending original Bills of Lading (BL) to warehouses and/or collecting document packages for Letters of Credit (LC) presentations.
- Ideally 2+ years’ administrative experience
- Basic to good understanding of Shipping and Incoterms (preferred)
- Experience working in a trading environment
- Knowledge of the commodities industry (an advantage)
- Good proficiency in Excel
- Able to handle a large workload while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong team player with a responsible, proactive attitude and clear ownership of deliverables
- Forward-thinking and willing to improve day-to-day processes, leveraging available tools where appropriate
- Basic Python knowledge is a plus (not essential)
- Experience handling shipping documentation
- Excellent written and spoken English
