Our client is a worldwide famous FMCG Company, based in Rotterdam.


The European Product Data Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality, reliable product data across SAP, PIM, and EPDM systems. The role combines hands-on data engineering and BI development with strong stakeholder management. This position drives data governance, builds data validation and reporting tools, and supports markets and internal teams in improving product data accuracy and consistency.


We offer:

  • Salary between 4100 euro and 5300 euro, depending on experience
  • Contract for 9 Months, extension possible


Key Responsibilities

1. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Lead weekly meetings with priority markets to identify PIM and GDS functional gaps.
  • Drive weekly Change Request (CR) follow-ups and ensure progress, clarification, and alignment.
  • Coordinate deep-dive sessions to refine requirements and validate expectations.
  • Manage daily communication in Teams, provide operational support, and respond to business queries.
  • Support colleagues through sparring sessions, dashboard walkthroughs, troubleshooting, and mentoring.
  • Handle emails related to project updates, sign-offs, and ad hoc questions.

2. Data Engineering & Tool Development

Databricks (Back-End Development)

  • Design scalable data architectures for SAP Data Quality dashboards.
  • Create data models, map fields, and build SQL frameworks integrated with Azure Data Factory.
  • Adapt and redesign back-end solutions when business or technical requirements evolve.
  • Develop and iterate validation logic for SAP Data Quality rules based on user feedback.

Power BI (Reporting & Visualization)

  • Build end-to-end Power BI reports including models, KPIs, and visualizations.
  • Lead EPDM dashboard improvements, including back-end restructuring and asset page redesign.
  • Perform front-end refinements, bug fixes, and continuous quality improvements.

Power Automate (Process Automation)

  • Run requirement intake sessions with markets and assess feasibility.
  • Create technical mock-ups and develop automation flows across multiple iterations.

EPDM & Future SAP–PIM Tooling

  • Facilitate governance discussions to standardize metrics across markets.
  • Write validation rules aligned with SAP Data Quality structures.
  • Support future SAP–PIM data integrity dashboards once scope is defined.

3. Data Governance & Quality Oversight

  • Maintain accurate data lineage and ensure all Databricks dependencies are updated.
  • Safeguard cross-system data consistency between SAP, PIM, GDS, and EPDM.
  • Champion strong governance practices across markets and internal teams.
  • Ensure data is trustworthy, complete, and fit for business and regulatory requirements.
