Your Mission Will Be
- Analyze and understand client data to support risk prevention and decision-making;
- Prepare, clean, and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency;
- Build, refine, and optimize machine learning models through feature engineering and parameter tuning;
- Share insights and recommendations with project managers and stakeholders to guide data-driven choices;
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Product, Research, and Engineering to improve tools and processes.
- Strong background in machine learning, including model training, validation, and overfitting prevention;
- Proficiency in bash, Python, and either Java or Scala for data processing and modeling;
- Experience with Big Data frameworks such as Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies;
- Ability to clearly communicate analytical results to both technical and non-technical audiences;
- CPLP nationality or an EU work permit is required to facilitate employment.
- Experience with statistics, data visualization, and performance optimization at JVM or OS level;
- Knowledge of tree-based algorithms such as Random Forest, XGBoost, or LightGBM;
- Familiarity with deep learning techniques and their practical application;
- Previous exposure to customer-facing data science projects in complex environments;
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields.
