We are looking for an Business Analyst Expert in Tribe Data Finance!


Responsibilities:

  • Validated User Stories with clear business requirements.
  • UAT Reports documenting test results and identified issues.
  • Business Cases supporting prioritization and investment decisions.
  • Change Management Plans for impacted processes.
  • Performance Indicators and dashboards for monitoring improvements.
  • Integration Documentation for partner implementations.
  • Business Representation: Serve as the voice of Finance within the Squad, ensuring priorities reflect business objectives.
  • Analysis & Improvement: Identify areas for process optimization and conversion improvements.
  • User Story Contribution: Draft and validate business components of user stories.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Prepare and execute UAT test cases aligned with acceptance criteria; report bugs and inconsistencies.
  • Business Case Development: Build cases to support prioritization of features and OPUS investments.
  • Change Management: Support initiatives impacting business processes and ensure smooth adoption.
  • Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the point of contact for partners during integrations.
  • Mandatory Training: Complete and enforce compliance with required training for the team.
  • Ad-hoc Activities: Perform additional tasks necessary for Tribe objectives.


Requirements:

  • 1. Deep Understanding of Financial Processes and Products
  • Solid grasp of financial product pricing, profitability analysis, and partnership models.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting cycles.
  • Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements in the financial sector (e.g., Banco de Portugal regulations).
  • 2. Data-Driven Decision Making.
  • Ability to interpret and leverage financial KPIs and business metrics.
  • Experience with structuring, analyzing, and presenting financial data to support business decisions.
  • Familiarity with data governance principles and best practices.
  • 3. Tools and Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, and SQL.
  • Comfortable using management information systems and ERP tools (e.g., Dynamics Navision).
  • 4. Agile Mindset and Collaboration
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams, ideally within Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Ability to specify business requirements for data and analytics projects.
  • Skilled at translating business needs into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for technical teams.
  • 5. Communication and Stakeholder Management
  • Strong communication skills to facilitate discussions between Finance, IT/Data, and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to participate in meetings, clarify requirements, and support negotiations with internal and external partners.
  • 6. Risk Awareness
  • Understanding of risk mapping, incident reporting, and the impact of operational risks on financial outcomes.
  • Good level of english.
