Role Description

This is a full-time remote position for a Portfolio Manager, Digital Assets (EU Markets) based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The role is responsible for overseeing digital asset portfolio strategy with a focus on European market exposure, allocation discipline, and structured risk management.

The Portfolio Manager will design and manage portfolio construction frameworks across spot and derivatives markets, monitor exposure levels, and evaluate liquidity and volatility conditions across EU trading environments. The role emphasizes disciplined allocation, correlation analysis, and drawdown control rather than execution-only trading.

Day-to-day responsibilities include portfolio rebalancing, performance attribution, stress testing under different market scenarios, and reporting risk metrics to internal stakeholders. The role will collaborate with research and analytics contributors to refine strategy inputs and ensure that portfolio decisions align with defined objectives and governance standards.

This position requires a strong understanding of both global digital asset dynamics and the specific characteristics of European markets, including liquidity cycles, institutional participation, and evolving regulatory frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience in portfolio management, asset allocation, or digital asset investment roles
• Strong understanding of crypto market structure, derivatives, and liquidity dynamics
• Experience managing diversified portfolios in volatile market conditions
• Ability to evaluate leverage exposure, correlation risk, and downside protection
• Familiarity with EU market considerations and trading environments
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual compensation package aligned with senior portfolio management standards in Slovenia and EU digital asset markets.

The position is remote within Slovenia and includes a discretionary bonus component. Team members at Techgenix contribute to structured digital asset investment oversight within a disciplined and performance-focused environment.

Base salary range: EUR 95,000 to 125,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus
