European Blockchain Convention and its satellite events have been bringing together institutions, founders, investors, and policymakers from the ecosystem since 2018.


We are looking for a Head of Business Operations with a strong systems-driven mindset and the ability to build operational structure that enables scale, clarity, and performance across the company.


This is a key, high-impact role focused on designing and implementing the internal architecture of the business — from processes and reporting to cross-team coordination and operational discipline — ensuring the company runs efficiently as it grows internationally.


Key responsibilities:


  • Design, document, and optimize core company processes (SOPs) to improve clarity, efficiency, and accountability
  • Own and maintain the company-wide KPI dashboard, ensuring accurate reporting and full performance visibility.
  • Run and structure the weekly leadership meeting, aligning priorities and execution across teams.
  • Monitor department budgets and operational spending, ensuring discipline and predictability.
  • Build forecasting and reporting systems to reduce surprises and improve decision-making.
  • Define and implement clear RACI frameworks and decision-making processes.
  • Standardize hiring workflows, onboarding, and internal performance tracking.
  • Oversee internal tools, systems, and documentation to ensure operational scalability.
  • Identify bottlenecks and proactively implement structural improvements.
  • Support execution of strategic initiatives, including international expansion projects.
  • Support monthly financial reporting and P&L preparation
  • Build cash flow visibility and short-term forecasting tools to improve financial control.
  • Collaborate closely with Founders, CCO, and Event Director to translate strategy into structured execution.



What We’re Looking For:


  • BSc in Business, Engineering, Finance, Management or related field.
  • 6+ years experience in operations, business management, consulting, or fast-growing environments.
  • Strong systems thinker with the ability to translate strategy into structured execution.
  • Financially literate and comfortable working with budgets, KPIs, and forecasting.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and process-driven.
  • Strong communication and cross-team coordination skills.
  • Calm under pressure and comfortable enforcing structure and accountability.
  • Hands-on, autonomous profile with high ownership mentality.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • You need constant direction instead of proactively identifying improvements.
