Equans is a global leader in the energy and services sector, with €19.2B in annual revenue and operations in over 20 countries. Cybersecurity is a core strategic priority at group level, with globally deployed security platforms ensuring unified protection across business units.

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Solutions Expert to take ownership of key global cybersecurity solutions, currently focused on EDR and CSPM platforms such as Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE), CrowdStrike Falcon, and Wiz.

This role combines deep technical expertise with product ownership and strategic impact at enterprise scale.

Role Overview

You will act as the leading expert for one or more global cybersecurity solutions. Your mission is to maximize value, ensure operational excellence, and continuously evolve these platforms in line with business and threat landscape developments.

This is not a purely operational role. It includes roadmap influence, vendor challenge, architecture ownership, and active collaboration with internal cybersecurity teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and refine solution requirements
• Challenge vendors and evaluate new features as the market evolves
• Identify use cases and prioritize value creation opportunities in the product backlog
• Maintain architecture documentation and release plans
• Develop, implement, integrate, and maintain cybersecurity solutions
• Securely configure and continuously improve systems and controls
• Monitor performance and ensure conformance to security standards
• Manage patching and vulnerability remediation processes
• Collaborate closely with IT/OT teams on cybersecurity-related initiatives
• Support internal cybersecurity teams during on-duty operational rotations
• Plan sprint goals and contribute to Agile ceremonies (demos, retrospectives, backlog refinement)

Profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in ICT within complex enterprise environments
• Hands-on experience with EDR and/or CSPM platforms
• Strong understanding of security architecture principles (cloud, networking, IAM, endpoint and server management)
• Familiarity with ITIL and Agile methodologies
• Ability to rapidly deploy and test Proof of Concepts and MVPs
• Comfortable operating with high-privilege global security tools
