We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Security Engineer to join our team of experts dedicated to securing modern IT environments. In this role, you will contribute your deep technical knowledge in penetration testing, cloud security, and automation to help strengthen our customers’ security posture. You will work within the European Union to support our clients’ data protection, compliance, and privacy requirements.


Specific responsibilities:


  • Perform advanced penetration tests and analyze system vulnerabilities.
  • Actively detect, prevent, and combat cyberattacks across complex IT environments.
  • Drive automation initiatives for security testing, vulnerability assessment, and reporting.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate data and cybersecurity risks.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on information security topics for internal teams and customers.
  • Collaborate within a team of security specialists in an open, supportive, and trust-driven environment.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes and agile development practices.


Skills required:


  • Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific field, or equivalent professional training.
  • 3–5 years of professional IT experience, ideally with a focus on cloud security and/or penetration testing.
  • Relevant IT security certifications, such as OSCE, OSEP, OSEE, OSCP, CCSP, CISSP, or similar.
  • Hands-on experience performing penetration tests and mitigating real-world attacks.
  • Strong knowledge of penetration testing tools, scanning solutions, and automation frameworks.
  • Solid experience with Linux systems and network-related services.
  • High degree of customer orientation and professionalism.
  • Familiarity with agile development processes.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Ability to work within the European Union to meet data security and privacy requirements.


Nice to have:


  • Proven track-record in proactively preventing attacks before they occur.
  • Experience driving automation improvements in security testing workflows.
  • Broad knowledge of data protection, risk analysis, and cyber risk mitigation.
  • Enthusiasm for teamwork, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within a specialist community.
