Project Manager (Road Infrastructure) - Romania
Looking for an experienced Project Manager, preferably with experience in large-scale road infrastructure projects, for our client, a Turkish company currently active on multiple such projects in Romania.
Your new role
- Creating a detailed project plan, including all the necessary stages and resources.
- Establishing a system for monitoring the progress of the works.
- Identifying and managing potential risks.
- Budgeting and Financial Control.
- Elaborate on a detailed budget and monitoring expenses in order not to exceed the established limits.
- Negotiating contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Managing project changes and claims, non-conformities and complaints.
- Selecting and managing work teams, ensuring that each member has well-defined tasks.
- Facilitating effective communication between all parties involved in the project.
- Implementing a quality control system to ensure that the work is executed according to specifications.
- Maintaining communication and coordination with all stakeholders, including company headquarters, other departments within the company, construction sites, clients, designers, related governmental authorities, and related local authorities to align with the project’s success.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience (at least 10 years of experience) in road construction. Preferably most of the mentioned time was experience in large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in construction projects with CNAIR represents an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction or road and bridge engineering.
- Ability to set up and conduct good communication within the team and all other parties related to the work and to convey instructions clearly.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and other Project Management softwares such as: Primavera, BIM (Building Information Modeling),etc.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure all reports and submissions are accurate and complete.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Romanian and English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Holding driving license B.
- Must have a combination of technical and interpersonal skills to effectively manage projects and adapt a change when needed.
- Leadership skills to motivate the team and obtaining constant feedback.
- Clarifying expectations and requirements, and risk management to anticipate problems.
