We are seeking a highly autonomous and results-driven Senior Project Development Manager Wind to join our Renewable Energy Business Unit in Romania. The selected candidate will play a key role in leading the full development lifecycle of onshore wind projects, from origination to Ready-to-Build (RTB) status, acting as a strategic interface between technical, legal, financial and institutional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the origination and assessment of new greenfield wind development opportunities, as well as the identification and evaluation of advanced-stage projects for acquisition.
• Drive the full development process of renewable energy projects, including regulatory and territorial analysis, feasibility assessments, business case validation, and coordination of internal and external technical advisors.
• Take full ownership of the permitting and authorization process, ensuring timely achievement of key milestones up to building permit issuance and RTB status.
• Manage relationships and negotiations with landowners, local authorities, public entities, business partners, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee due diligence activities (technical, environmental, and permitting) in coordination with legal and financial teams.
• Support budgeting, financial modelling and reporting activities toward senior management and investment committees.
• Coordination with multidisciplinary teams (engineering, environmental, grid, legal) for project design, grid connection strategy, and preparation of documentation required for investment approval.
• Supervise external consultants, suppliers, and technical partners throughout the development phase.
• Conduct site visits, feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure project bankability and compliance.
• Provide technical and strategic support in acquisition processes and negotiations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or other technical disciplines.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in renewable energy project development, particularly in wind projects in Romania.
• Proven experience in managing the full permitting process and achieving RTB status.
• Strong understanding of Romanian regulatory framework for renewable energy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholders and negotiate with public and private counterparties.
• Solid project management capabilities, with a high level of autonomy and accountability.
• Strategic mindset combined with strong execution skills.
• English Fluent; Italian is a plus
