The Oniverse Group, headquartered in Verona, is a fashion company founded in 1987 and consists of the brands Calzedonia, Intimissimi, Falconeri, Atelier Emé, and Signorvino. For more than thirty years, we have worked together to ensure consistent organizational growth, thereby strengthening our position in the global fashion market. We now operate 4,900 stores in 57 countries worldwide.
Since 2018, we have also been active in the Netherlands, regularly opening new stores for both Intimissimi and Calzedonia. We currently operate 40 stores in the Netherlands, with many new openings planned for the future.
HR Specialist
RESPONSIBILITIES
The organization in the Netherlands is currently experiencing strong growth. We open many new stores each year, meaning the scope of activities will continue to expand.
The HR department is a small and close-knit team, offering plenty of room for individual input. You will work closely with District Managers and our colleagues in Belgium and Italy. In this role, together with the HR Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the full administrative process related to onboarding, internal changes, and offboarding for store staff, including drafting new employment contracts and amendment letters;
- Keeping the personnel system (SAP SuccessFactors) and payroll software (Cobra) up to date;
- Managing and optimizing store time registration and conducting monthly checks in preparation for payroll processing;
- Acting as the point of contact for external advisors such as payroll consultants and expat tax services;
- Serving as the contact person for District Managers and stores regarding various HR-related matters, particularly monthly payroll and personnel administration;
- Supporting the recruitment process for store positions, including drafting and publishing vacancy postings, screening applications, coordinating interviews, and maintaining contact with candidates;
- Assisting with onboarding activities for new employees to ensure a smooth integration into the organization;
- Supporting the organization and coordination of training sessions and development initiatives for store staff and managers;
- Monitoring training participation and maintaining training records within the HR systems;
- Performing additional administrative tasks to support the stores;
- Supporting the Finance department with the annual closing process by providing necessary reports on headcount, personnel costs, etc.;
- Supporting the HR department in various HR-related projects and employee engagement initiatives.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE...
- Preferably has initial work experience in a similar role;
- Previous experience in retail is helpful but not required;
- Speaks and writes fluent English and preferably Dutch ;
- Has knowledge of MS Office and Outlook;
- Knowledge of Cobra HRM & Payroll is a plus;
- Has strong adaptability and a team-oriented approach;
- Comfortable to work in Amsterdam;
- Is available full-time;
- Is occasionally available for short business trips domestically and abroad.
