The Opportunity

As CapEx Investment Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering capital investment projects that enhance our manufacturing operations. These initiatives include equipment upgrades, capacity expansions, modernization, automation, sustainability improvements, and layout/flow optimizations.

You will work closely with Production, Maintenance, HSE, Industrial Engineering, Global Product Management, Procurement, and external suppliers — ensuring that our investments strengthen both operational excellence and product quality.

This role is central to our continuous improvement and growth strategy within Surge Arresters.

How You´ll Make An Impact

  • Lead Investment Projects Manage end‑to‑end CAPEX projects — from idea and business case to execution, commissioning, and handover — ensuring delivery on scope, time, and budget.
  • Drive Manufacturing Improvements Identify opportunities with production teams and turn them into solid investment proposals. Prepare technical specs and ensure solutions support factory strategy, sustainability, and future capacity.
  • Collaborate Across Functions & Suppliers Manage supplier evaluations, ensuring safe and efficient installation and start‑up.
  • Ensure Compliance & Transparency Lead risk assessments and safety reviews while securing compliance with internal and external requirements. Provide clear progress reporting to management and stakeholders.

Your Background

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience leading CapEx or industrial investment projects, preferably within manufacturing or industry.
  • Solid understanding of production processes, equipment, automation, or plant engineering.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships across the organization.
  • Structured working style with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive decisions and actions.
  • Proficiency in English and Swedish, spoken and written.

Experience within High Voltage Products, electrification equipment, or similar industrial environments is an advantage.
