We’re hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for a Dublin-based client modernising their customer call centre platform.
They’re moving from legacy Lex-based infrastructure to a more advanced conversational AI system powered by AWS Bedrock. This is a backend, cloud-native role focused on serverless architecture and event-driven systems.
€300 - 320 per day
Initial 6-month contract
What you’ll be working on
- Building backend services using AWS Lambda
- Integrating AWS Bedrock and Lex for conversational AI
- Designing infrastructure using CDK and CloudFormation
- Working with API Gateway and Kafka (serverless/event-driven)
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Contributing to backend architecture and technical decisions

This is a backend engineering role centred on AWS, serverless architecture and production-grade conversational systems.
