Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain road and civil models in Autodesk Civil 3D (alignments, profiles, corridors, cross-sections, drainage networks).
- Prepare construction drawings, details, and CAD/BIM deliverables in line with project and client standards.
- Support engineers with quantity take-offs/measurements and BOQ inputs.
- Generate and manage DTMs from survey data (topographic, LiDAR/drone, and bathymetric, where applicable).
- Coordinate model exchange with structures and other disciplines; support integration of Revit models where required.
- Maintain drawing registers, file naming conventions, and metadata compliance; ensure version control.
- Collaborate with engineers, BIM management, and GIS/survey teams to ensure consistent data workflows.
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Civil 3D for road/civil modelling and drawing production.
- Proven experience as a BIM/CAD Drafter within roads, highways, road signs & marking, traffic studies, etc.
- Working knowledge of Navisworks Manage for coordination and clash detection.
- Revit (Civil/Structural) familiarity for bridges/culverts and model integration (level depending on project needs).
- InfraWorks exposure preferred.
- Understanding of GIS/survey data integration (LiDAR, drone, bathymetric, topographic).
Education & Certifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
- Autodesk Civil 3D certification preferred.
- Exposure to ISO 19650 / BIM standards preferred.
- Experience: 5-10 years
