Job Purpose
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage resources effectively, and ensure all project objectives are achieved in alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage project teams by assigning tasks, setting deadlines, and providing guidance and feedback.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify potential risks and issues, and develop contingency plans.
- Communicate project status, progress, and risks to stakeholders, including senior management, team members, and external partners.
- Create and maintain all necessary project documentation, such as charters, scope statements, and detailed plans.
- Ensure compliance with project management best practices and organizational standards.
- Handle project budgets and financials, including accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
- Lead and facilitate key project meetings, including kick-off sessions, status updates, and post-project reviews.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork to drive project success.
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
- Strong project management knowledge and application of methodologies.
- Proficient with relevant tools, software, and project management methodologies.
- Advanced leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, including presentation and reporting.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's Degree required and Professional Certifications such as PMP or Prince2.
- Minimum of 6 years in project management or similar roles.
