π About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Network Engineer / Architect to lead the design, implementation, and advanced support of mission-critical, global network infrastructure.
This pivotal technical leadership role requires deep, hands-on expertise in Juniper and Palo Alto Networks environments, along with strong command of large enterprise and service provider technologies such as BGP, MPLS, and QoS.
The ideal candidate will bridge strategic architectural vision with operational excellence, ensuring reliable transport for key services including VoIP and high-volume IP Video Surveillance (IPVS) systems.
π Key Responsibilities
- Architect, plan, and deploy highly available, scalable, and secure WAN, LAN, and Data Center networks using:
- Juniper (MX Routers, EX/QFX Switches)
- Palo Alto Networks Firewalls
- Develop and maintain the MPLS core network architecture, including:
- L2/L3 VPNs
- Traffic Engineering (TE)
- LDP / RSVP
- Design and implement complex BGP routing policies for:
- Multi-homed internet connectivity
- Inter-AS communication
- Global route optimization
- Lead network strategy initiatives aligned with business objectives and security standards
- Design, implement, and fine-tune Quality of Service (QoS) policies:
- Queuing
- Policing
- Shaping
- Classification
- Ensure reliable VoIP service delivery, including:
- Session Border Controllers
- Gateways
- Seamless integration
- Architect and support network infrastructure for IP Video Surveillance (IPVS) systems:
- Camera-to-VMS communication
- Storage networking
- VLAN segmentation & zoning
- PoE / PoE+ power budget management
- Conduct capacity planning & traffic analysis for high-resolution H.264 / H.265 video streams
- Configure and manage:
- Juniper SRX Firewalls
- Palo Alto NGFWs (Security Policies, NAT, VPNs, User-ID, App-ID)
- Enforce strong security policies including:
- 802.1x authentication
- Network segmentation
- Provide Tier 3/4 escalation support
- Perform packet analysis using Wireshark
- Conduct root cause analysis for complex network, voice, and video issues
β Required Qualifications
- 10+ years progressive experience in Network Engineering
- 3+ years in Network Architect or Lead Senior role
- Deep hands-on expertise with Juniper Junos OS:
- MX Series Routers
- EX/QFX Switches
- SRX Firewalls
- Expert-level BGP knowledge:
- Path manipulation
- Route filtering
- Peering
- Extensive experience with MPLS networks:
- LDP
- RSVP-TE
- L2/L3 VPNs
- Strong expertise in Palo Alto Networks:
- Panorama
- App-ID
- Content-ID
- WildFire
- Proven experience supporting high-volume, real-time traffic environments:
- QoS for VoIP
- IP Video networks
