Saher management is hiring for "Senior IoT Expert"

📍 Doha, Qatar

📄 1-Year Contract (Extendable)

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy IoT solutions, primarily on Azure IoT platform
  • Serve as SME for IoT platforms, sensors, devices, and protocols
  • Develop server-side and front-end applications using C#, Node.js, Angular, React
  • Work with RESTful APIs, web services, microservices, and serverless/cloud-native architectures
  • Collaborate with backend/platform teams, troubleshoot issues, and document solutions
  • Lead PoCs for emerging IoT technologies and innovative use cases
  • Prepare solution blueprints, technical collaterals, and workshop materials
  • Communicate with stakeholders and translate business requirements into IoT solutions

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • 12+ years relevant industry or consulting experience
  • Expertise in IoT platforms and Azure IoT services (or similar cloud IoT solutions)
  • Experience in Smart City, Industrial IoT, or Construction IoT projects
  • Strong programming experience: C#, Node.js, JavaScript, Angular/React
  • Familiarity with PaaS services: IoT Hub, Stream Analytics, Event Hub, Azure Functions
  • Cloud-native, microservices, containerization, and serverless architecture experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Experience with enterprise clients, Big 4 consulting, or government projects preferred
