Key Responsibilities
- Lead administration, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise & GIS applications
- Ensure integrity, security, availability, and performance of applications and data
- Administer and support platforms including:
- OpenLayers
- GeoServer
- ArcGIS
- SQL Server
- Oracle Database
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and system issues (SME level)
- Enforce best practices in application governance, change management, and system upgrades
- Participate in capacity planning and performance optimization strategies
- Develop and maintain detailed system documentation and architecture records
- Collaborate with stakeholders across ISD and other departments
- Support Agile/Scrum development processes
- Perform supervisory/lead responsibilities when assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
- Qualification relevance subject to ISD technical review
- 12+ years of experience in Application Administration (.NET & GIS environments)
- 5+ years of development experience in multiple technologies:
- ASP.NET
- C#
- VB.NET
- JavaScript
- XML
- Python
- PHP
- JSON
- HTML5
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with GIS Data Management tools
- Strong experience with:
- Data modeling
- Business logic implementation
- RESTful APIs
- Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong organizational & multitasking abilities
- Analytical thinking & advanced troubleshooting skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in enterprise environments
