Saher management is hiring for "Application Administration Expert"

🚀 Senior Application Administration Expert

📍 Location: Doha, Qatar

📄 Contract: 1 Year (Extendable)

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead administration, configuration, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise & GIS applications
  • Ensure integrity, security, availability, and performance of applications and data
  • Administer and support platforms including:
    • OpenLayers
    • GeoServer
    • ArcGIS
    • SQL Server
    • Oracle Database
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and system issues (SME level)
  • Enforce best practices in application governance, change management, and system upgrades
  • Participate in capacity planning and performance optimization strategies
  • Develop and maintain detailed system documentation and architecture records
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across ISD and other departments
  • Support Agile/Scrum development processes
  • Perform supervisory/lead responsibilities when assigned
🎓 Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
  • Qualification relevance subject to ISD technical review

💼 Experience Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in Application Administration (.NET & GIS environments)
  • 5+ years of development experience in multiple technologies:
    • ASP.NET
    • C#
    • VB.NET
    • JavaScript
    • XML
    • Python
    • PHP
    • JSON
    • HTML5
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience with GIS Data Management tools
  • Strong experience with:
    • Data modeling
    • Business logic implementation
    • RESTful APIs
  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
🛠 Required Skills

  • Strong organizational & multitasking abilities
  • Analytical thinking & advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in enterprise environments
