Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Project Managers with strong Business Analysis (BA) experience to lead and deliver strategic transformation programs within the financial services sector across the GCC. The ideal candidates will possess a solid background in corporate and wholesale banking, with additional exposure to retail financial services, and demonstrate technical acumen to bridge business and technology teams.
This role requires professionals who can manage complex initiatives end-to-end, alongside foundational business analysis and stakeholder engagement responsibilities, ensuring successful delivery of large-scale transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
- Lead and manage enterprise-level transformation programs in financial services with a strong focus on corporate and wholesale banking.
- Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocation, risk registers, and governance artifacts.
- Drive delivery coordination across cross-functional teams (business, IT, risk, compliance, finance), ensuring alignment to program objectives.
- Monitor performance metrics, manage escalations, and ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved on time.
Business Analysis & Requirements
- Capture, analyze, and validate business requirements across multiple stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications, process maps, and system requirements.
- Conduct As-Is and To-Be process analysis, gap analysis, and impact assessments.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.
Financial Services Domain Expertise
- Apply deep understanding of corporate, wholesale, and retail banking operations to solution design and recommendations.
- Support business process redesign, policy alignment, compliance, and integration with core banking, trade finance, payments, and risk systems.
- Facilitate workshops and requirement sessions with senior business stakeholders.
Technology & Delivery Alignment
- Engage with technical teams to ensure solution feasibility, alignment to enterprise architecture, and adherence to quality standards.
- Support UAT planning, test cases, and validation of technical deliverables.
- Ensure proper documentation, configuration management, and traceability of requirements throughout the SDLC.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Build strong working relationships with business owners, executives, vendors, and technical partners.
- Provide regular status reporting, steering committee updates, and executive briefings in clear and concise English.
- Drive consensus and alignment across diverse groups.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage.
Experience
- 8–15+ years of combined Project Management and Business Analysis experience.
- Proven track record of delivering transformation programs in financial services, including corporate banking, wholesale banking, and retail banking domains.
- Experience in large, complex, multi-entity environments with cross-regional delivery exposure.
Domain & Functional Competencies
- In-depth understanding of corporate & wholesale banking products and processes.
- Strong exposure to retail financial services platforms is a plus.
- Proficiency in business process modeling, gap analysis, and requirements engineering.
- Familiarity with core banking systems, trade finance, treasury, payments, and risk platforms.
- Experience with regulatory compliance and governance frameworks in the GCC banking environment.
Technical & Delivery Skills
- Strong background in project delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid).
- Hands-on experience with:
- Requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally)
- Process modeling tools (Visio, ARIS)
- Reporting and dashboarding tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

- PMP / Prince2 Practitioner
- PMI-PBA
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
- TOGAF / ITIL / Agile Certifications (Scrum Master / Product Owner)
