Project Manager - IT Implementation

Role: Project Manager – IT Implementation (MEP Contractor Environment)

Location: Qatar

Duration: 1 Year

Key Specialized Requirements:

• Experience managing ERP or enterprise IT implementation projects.
• Exposure to working with MEP contractors or construction-based clients.
• Understanding of MEP documentation structure, handover formats, and approval workflows.
• Familiarity with material submittal processes and consultant/client approval cycles.
• Ability to align IT documentation with MEP-driven project governance requirements.
• Experience coordinating in multi-layer environments (IT vendor - MEP contractor - End client).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end ERP/IT project implementation within an MEP contractor-driven environment.
• Ensure all IT deliverables comply with the MEP documentation standards required by the customer.
• Act as the coordination bridge between IT project execution and MEP documentation/control processes.
• Support preparation and submission of required technical documents aligned with contractor templates.
• Track document submissions, approvals, and consultant/client review cycles.
• Coordinate with the MEP contractor to clarify integration requirements and handover expectations.
• Manage risks related to documentation delays, dependency on contractor inputs, and approval bottlenecks.
• Provide structured progress updates to both the MEP contractor and internal IT stakeholders.
• Ensure smooth system testing, validation, and final documentation handover.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of Project Management experience in IT implementation projects.
• Prior experience working with MEP contractors or construction-oriented clients is mandatory.
• ERP/SAP implementation experience preferred.
• Hands on experience managing document control systems and consultant/client approval cycles within MEP or contractor-driven projects is mandatory.
• PMP or CAPM preferred.
• Strong coordination, follow-up, and stakeholder management skills.
