We Are Hiring: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Location: Muscat – Head Office

Reports to: Chairman of the Board of Directors

We are looking for Omani exceptional leader to drive our strategic vision, deliver strong commercial & financial performance, and lead a high‑growth business.

The ideal candidate will manage the overall operations of the company as well as develop and implement strategies that meet the needs of the customers, the stakeholders, and the employees. They will be responsible for making key decisions and executing the culture of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the organization as its primary representative, ensuring effective execution of the strategy approved by the Board of Directors.
2. Drive financial and commercial performance, including revenue optimization, yield management, network profitability, ancillary revenue growth, and disciplined cost control.
3. Strengthen stakeholder, government, and commercial partnerships, building trust with regulators, aviation authorities, lessors, suppliers, and corporate clients to support commercial expansion.
4. Oversee operational excellence, ensuring efficiency, reliability, high‑quality service delivery, and continuous improvement across all business functions.
5. Ensure strong governance, including compliance with safety, security, legal, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
6. Lead strategic planning, setting mission, vision, business plans, commercial route strategy, fleet strategy, and long‑term growth objectives.
7. Develop and mentor senior leadership, driving talent development, succession planning, and a high‑performance culture built on accountability and innovation.
8. Enhance corporate policies and governance frameworks, ensuring adherence to ethical standards, internal controls, and best‑practice management principles.
9. Oversee resource allocation, ensuring optimal utilization of financial, human, and operational resources to achieve organizational targets and strategic outcomes.
10. Champion commercial innovation and growth, identifying new routes, partnerships, market opportunities, revenue models, digital solutions, and transformation initiatives that enhance SalamAir’s competitive edge.

What We’re Looking For

• 20 years of experience in commercial, including C-suite level leadership experience.
• Strong strategic, analytical, financial, and operational management skills.
• Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and engage diverse high‑level stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of commercial, aviation economics, regulations, safety, and organizational governance.
• Preference will be given to local national as per labor law.
