The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable server-side applications, APIs, optimizing performance — including AI-assisted solutions—to improve productivity, code quality, and maintainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js
- Design and build RESTful APIs and backend services
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, documentation, testing, and refactoring while ensuring accuracy and security validation
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Cursor / GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted coding
- Sentry for real-time error tracking and performance monitoring
- Postman AI or similar API testing tools
- ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini for debugging, documentation, and code optimization
- Log monitoring tools integrated with AI insights
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript
- Knowledge of REST API design and development
- Familiarity with databases like MongoDB, MySQL
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms or deployment processes
- Ability to write unit and integration tests
- Experience using AI tools for test case creation, API documentation, or legacy code
