React Developer – React, Trading Systems, Real Time, Kafka, Typescript, Front Office – Financial Services, Permanent – Up to £85,000 Base + Bonus
My client, a leading Investment Bank, are seeking React Developer to join a global technology team responsible for building and evolving a mission-critical credit trading platform.
This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, with clear ownership of UI initiatives supporting the Credit Flow business. You will work closely with trading, product, and backend engineering teams to deliver high-performance, secure, and scalable user interfaces in a highly regulated environment. In addition, you will be tasked to build and maintain modern, high-performance UIs using React with some TypeScript instances as well as contribute to the evaluation of new business requirements.
To be successful you will have.
- Experience/Exposure within a Front Office / Real Time eTrading environment
- Experience across Real Time Messaging/Streaming tools (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace)
- Strong hands-on experience with React, Typescript (Desirable)
- Solid engineering practices using Git, Jira, Confluence, CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity/Jenkins, Artifactory)
- Strong UI/UX sensibility, analytical thinking, and design awareness
- Effective stakeholder engagement and product definition skills, including Front Office Traders
