About The Role
We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to join our dynamic team in Burgess Hill, UK. This hybrid position offers the flexibility to work three days a week from our office, with the remaining days remote. The role is initially contracted for 4 to 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining mobile applications used by millions of cardholders worldwide. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, product owners, QA specialists, and fellow engineers, to create seamless, innovative, and user-centric mobile experiences. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in iOS application development. A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered. Candidates should demonstrate a strong command of Swift and Objective-C, with a proven track record of building and deploying high-quality iOS applications. Familiarity with modern development tools such as Tuist, xcodebuild, GitHub Actions, and Circle CI is essential. Experience working with REST APIs, designing solutions for open-ended problems, and integrating with legacy backend services is highly desirable. The candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, be self-motivated, and adept at managing time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of testing frameworks like XCTest/XCUITest, performance optimization, and continuous integration practices will be advantageous.
