Role Overview

A broad, exploratory data science role focused on analyzing compute and financial data to generate insights that support research, trading, and marketing initiatives. This is an applied analytics role rather than a hardcore model-building position.

Core responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets on compute inventories, pricing, and transactions
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, anomalies, and market opportunities
• Research and engineer features to support AI-driven analyses and product development
• Maintain and utilize GPU compute resources for research and analysis workflows
• Build dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate insights internally
• Automate routine analyses to improve efficiency and scalability
• Collaborate with leadership, research, and trading teams to translate findings into action
• Deliver results quickly while maintaining accuracy and reproducibility

Profile they’re looking for

• 2–5 years of experience in data science, research, or quantitative roles
• Strong statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with AI/ML pipelines, feature research, or data-intensive workflows preferred
• Familiarity with financial instruments or markets is a plus but not required
• Naturally curious, able to ask strong questions, and communicate insights clearly
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment
• Candidates from top-tier institutions or strong research/finance backgrounds are highly desirable
