Role Overview
A broad, exploratory data science role focused on analyzing compute and financial data to generate insights that support research, trading, and marketing initiatives. This is an applied analytics role rather than a hardcore model-building position.
Core responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets on compute inventories, pricing, and transactions
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, anomalies, and market opportunities
- Research and engineer features to support AI-driven analyses and product development
- Maintain and utilize GPU compute resources for research and analysis workflows
- Build dashboards, visualizations, and reports to communicate insights internally
- Automate routine analyses to improve efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with leadership, research, and trading teams to translate findings into action
- Deliver results quickly while maintaining accuracy and reproducibility
Profile they’re looking for
- 2–5 years of experience in data science, research, or quantitative roles
- Strong statistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with AI/ML pipelines, feature research, or data-intensive workflows preferred
- Familiarity with financial instruments or markets is a plus but not required
