Haileybury welcomes applications for the role of DevOps Administrator to join our ICT team. This is a Full-Time, Fixed-Term (1.0 FTE), commencing as soon as possible until the 8 March 2027.
The DevOps Administrator will play a key role in supporting the design, development, delivery, and upkeep of the School’s web and mobile applications as well as working closely with key stakeholders to manage routine updates.
Key Responsibilities
As the DevOps Administrator, you will:
- Support the management of websites, mobile applications and updates on functionality.
- Support the integration on website and application and updates on functionality.
- Assists the Web and Mobile Developer with stakeholder and internal ICT team engagements on new enhancements on websites and mobile applications.
- Provides Level 2 support escalations for the School’s websites, mobile applications and integrations.
- Assists in managing vendors.
- Operationally responsible for the web and mobile applications.
- Operationally responsible for the upkeep of documentation for each of the School’s web and mobile applications.
At Haileybury we are seeking exceptional people. We are looking for a team player who brings the following skills and experience:
- 2–4+ years’ experience in PHP development, including frameworks such as Zend and Laravel.
- Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Angular, Less, and Sass.
- Experience with responsive design frameworks.
- Database experience with MSSQL and MySQL/MariaDB.
- Linux server configuration and maintenance knowledge.
- API integration experience (REST and SOAP).
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, test automation, and continuous integration.
- Understanding of iOS and Android app development processes.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and issue escalation skills.
- Experience managing vendors during projects and operational escalations.
- Ability to build strong relationships with end users and gather requirements.
- Capable of working under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Awareness of legal, privacy, and security requirements in technology use.
- Current full Victorian Driver’s Licence required.
