Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise network infrastructure. The role involves managing routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and monitoring systems to ensure high performance, availability, and security across environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments
  • Install and manage routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and security devices
  • Monitor network performance and ensure optimal uptime and throughput
  • Troubleshoot network outages and performance bottlenecks
  • Implement security controls including ACLs, IPS/IDS, and firewall policies
  • Perform network upgrades, patching, and firmware updates
  • Maintain documentation (network diagrams, IP schemas, configurations)
  • Support cloud and hybrid connectivity (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Manage monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, Zabbix
  • Participate in on-call or after-hours support

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
  • 6+ years of network engineering experience
  • Hands-on expertise with Cisco / Juniper / Aruba / Fortinet / Palo Alto devices
  • Strong knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP)
  • Experience with VLANs, STP, EtherChannel
  • Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN
  • Experience with firewall configuration and network security best practices
  • Exposure to SD-WAN technologies
  • Familiarity with network automation (Python, Ansible – preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
