I’m currently partnering with a fast-growing AI startup based in Vienna that is building an advanced AI product They are offering a rare opportunity to join at an early stage and have real influence from day one.

This is a hands-on, product-focused role where you’ll work directly on the core platform, help shape technical decisions early, and contribute to defining how software is built and shipped as the company scales. This is not a typical corporate environment ownership, impact, and autonomy are central to the role.

The company offers competitive market-aligned compensation, along with bonus payments tied to company and product milestones.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a production-grade full-stack TypeScript codebase
• Develop frontend features and backend APIs end-to-end
• Design and evolve application architecture as requirements and scale grow
• Collaborate closely with product and AI teams
• Take ownership of features from initial concept through to production

Requirements

• Strong experience with TypeScript
• Daily hands-on use of modern AI-assisted coding tools (e.g. Cursor, Claude Code, or similar)
• Solid production experience with React
• Experience working with tRPC
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS
• Comfortable using TanStack / React Query
• Experience with modern TypeScript ORMs such as Drizzle or Prisma
• Experience with modern frameworks such as Next.js, Remix, or React Router
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Experience working with ai-sdk
• Exposure to real-time technologies
• Conversational German

Big Plus

• Experience building voice agents
• Based in or willing to relocate to Vienna, Austria
• Native development experience
• Strong design-engineering skills, including UI/UX judgment and design systems experience
