A rapidly expanding European clean energy company is seeking a Project Manager to support the rollout of high-quality fast-charging infrastructure across Austria.


This is a unique opportunity to join the Austrian market at an early stage and play a central role in delivering critical infrastructure that enables the transition to electric mobility.


As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the delivery of fast-charging sites nationwide. You will oversee projects from initial planning and grid connection through to construction completion and handover.


Working closely with local leadership and international teams, you will help shape processes, build partnerships, and support the long-term expansion strategy in Austria.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the acquisition and implementation of grid connections
  • Coordinate engineering, construction, and technical partners
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and risk
  • Oversee procurement and construction execution planning
  • Conduct regular site visits across Austria
  • Support site assessments and technical due diligence
  • Ensure compliance with Austrian regulations and safety standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with network operators and local stakeholders


Your Profile

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in project management within infrastructure, construction, utilities, or electrical engineering
  • Degree in engineering, technical studies, business, or a comparable qualification
  • Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident negotiator with a structured and solution-focused approach
  • Experience with grid connections or working alongside network operators is advantageous
  • Willingness to travel within Austria
  • Fluent German and strong business English
  • Driving licence category B


Previous experience in electromobility is not essential. Structured onboarding and technical training will be provided.
