About The Role

We’re looking for a Chief Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll take full ownership of financial integrity, statutory compliance, and tax reporting for two Lithuanian subsidiaries.

While the portfolio is dedicated to Lithuania, we are open to candidates based in Lithuania or Estonia.

You’ll work closely with Group Finance to ensure accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and full compliance with Lithuanian GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.

What You’ll Do

• Lead timely and accurate monthly closing for Lithuanian entities
• Prepare financial statements under IFRS and Lithuanian GAAP
• Ensure compliance with Lithuanian tax and accounting legislation
• Oversee VAT, CIT, payroll tax declarations, and statutory reporting
• Act as primary contact for tax authorities and auditors
• Maintain strong balance sheet controls and documentation standards
• Execute intercompany transactions in line with Group transfer pricing policy
• Collaborate with Group Accounting on reporting and consolidation
  
  

What You Bring

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong professional experience in statutory and tax reporting
• Solid knowledge of Lithuanian GAAP, tax legislation, and IFRS
• Experience working in a multinational or matrix organization is an advantage
• ERP experience (Dynamics 365, SAP, Oracle, or similar)
• Fluency in English - Lithuanian is a plus
• High integrity, analytical mindset, and strong ownership attitude
