Software Engineer HMI / SCADA | Schwäbisch Hall, Germany | Hybrid
We're working with expertum on this exciting opportunity. We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to develop and program HMI/SCADA systems for high-tech machinery in the pharmaceutical sector, contributing to digitalization efforts.
The Role
• Develop and program machine-level visualizations and cross-machine SCADA systems
• Ensure successful commissioning of developed software
• Continuously develop and improve existing base applications
• Drive digitalization by developing and installing PC-based software solutions
• Collaborate interdisciplinarily with other development teams
• Design and configure network systems for various projects
What You'll Need
• Degree or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Technical Informatics
• Extensive experience in programming HMI/SCADA systems (e.g., Aveva InTouch, Rockwell FactoryTalk, Copa-Data Zenon, WinCC)
• Familiarity with Usability and User Experience concepts
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server database systems
• Proficiency in network technology, including workstation and server configuration/administration
• Good command of German and English languages
• Willingness for occasional travel
