Job Description

About the role:

Join our ERP team as a Junior ERP Application Consultant (m/f/d) and start your career on a clear consulting development path within a complex and business-critical pharma environment.

This role starts with a strong operational and support focus to build deep system and process understanding. Over time, you will gradually evolve into a functional ERP consulting role, taking increasing responsibility for process analysis, improvement initiatives and stakeholder communication.

You will work closely with business teams, senior consultants and developers, gaining hands-on experience with Dynamics AX 2009 and D365 in a highly customized ERP landscape. We support your growth through structured onboarding, continuous learning and close mentoring.

About Your Tasks

  • Provide first- and second-level ERP support, ensuring stable operations and quick resolution of incidents
  • Analyze recurring issues to identify root causes and improvement opportunities
  • Support and gradually contribute to the optimization of Pharma & Sales business processes
  • Perform functional testing for system enhancements and updates
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational needs
  • Act as a functional interface between business and development teams
  • Document processes, solutions and workflows using Jira and Confluence
  • Gain exposure to system migration and data quality topics in the long-term transition from AX 2009 to D365

Qualifications

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
  • First professional experience (1–3 years) in ERP support, business applications or consulting is a plus
  • Strong interest in ERP consulting and business processes
  • Motivation to learn, grow and take responsibility over time
  • Ability to work in a structured way and communicate with different stakeholders
  • German: conversational / working level (ability to communicate; fluency is not required) and English: fluent
