We’re working with a leading global technology organisation in the financial services space that is looking for a UI-focused Senior and Principal Software Engineer to join a highly skilled engineering teams in Galway. These roles place a strong emphasis on frontend development, with Angular at its core.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning frontend design and implementation
• Building and maintaining modern, scalable Angular applications
• Driving frontend best practices, code quality, and UI standards
• Collaborating closely with product owners, designers, and backend engineers
• Mentoring engineers and leading by example through code reviews and technical guidance
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines, testing strategies, and overall engineering excellence

What we’re looking for

• 6+ years of software development experience overall
• 5+ years of strong, hands-on Angular experience (essential)
• Proven experience designing and delivering complex UI applications
• Experience working in full-stack environments, with exposure to java / node.js / .NET/ C#
• AWS and cloud-based environments
• CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum ways of working
