UAB Recaras develops, maintains, and scales a trading platform that helps hundreds of car dismantlers run their businesses and connect to global marketplaces for selling used auto parts.


Our mission is to make the automotive industry more efficient, reduce waste, and keep the Earth cleaner by extending the lifecycle of car parts instead of producing new ones.


Role Overview


We are looking for a Python Developer (Mid/Senior) to join our growing team. You will work closely with business stakeholders and other developers to build, scale, and optimize our SaaS platform that processes large volumes of data and integrations across multiple marketplaces.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain our core SaaS platform
  • Design, build, and maintain microservices
  • Build reliable and well-structured APIs
  • Optimize system performance, scalability, and stability
  • Integrate with third-party APIs and external systems
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical improvements



Experience:


  • Strong experience with Python, building scalable and maintainable systems
  • Hands-on experience with caching and queue technologies (e.g. Redis, RabbitMQ)
  • Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
  • Solid experience integrating third-party APIs
  • Good understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Experience building APIs (GraphQL is a strong plus)
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate within a cross-functional team

Big Plus (AI & Automation Experience):


Hands-on experience with AI-driven systems is a strong advantage, especially in production environments. This includes:


  • Practical knowledge of training, fine-tuning, or integrating custom ML models
  • Experience integrating AI models into real SaaS products (performance, cost control, monitoring, scalability)
  • Working with AI pipelines for image, text, or structured data understanding
  • Interest in expanding AI capabilities across the platform


We already run AI in production and are looking for engineers who want to build, extend, and scale AI-powered features as a core part of the platform.


Compensation


  • Salary: €3000 – €6000 gross per month (based on experience)
