Junior Product Manager

About the Role

YamSoft is building and evolving software solutions for online payment gateways.

We are looking for a highly motivated Junior Product Manager with digital product development experience. You will support the full product lifecycle of payment-related features – from idea and discovery to delivery and post-release improvements. You will work closely with engineering, QA, UX, and business stakeholders to ensure that our products are reliable, compliant, and valuable for merchants and partners.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a strong Product Manager in a fintech and payments environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Product Manager in defining and maintaining the product roadmap for payment gateway features.
• Gather and analyze business, technical and customer requirements related to online payments, integrations and merchant needs.
• Translate requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and product documentation.
• Collaborate daily with engineering, QA and design teams during feature delivery.
• Help validate solutions from both business and technical perspectives (API behaviour, integrations, edge cases, payment flows).
• Monitor released features, collect feedback from internal stakeholders and partners, and propose improvements.
• Support product discovery by researching market trends, competitors and payment industry practices.
• Assist with internal communication and release documentation for new product features.

What we are looking for:

• 1+ years of experience in a product, business analyst, project coordinator or similar role.
• Strong interest in digital products and fintech / online payments.
• Basic understanding of software development processes 
• Ability to write clear and structured requirements and user stories.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Comfortable working with data, dashboards and basic reporting.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience with payment gateways, e-commerce platforms or financial systems.
• Understanding of APIs, integrations and basic technical concepts.
• Experience working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma or similar.
• Basic knowledge of compliance or security topics in payments (e.g., transaction flows, fraud, data protection).

The salary range is between 1500 - 2500 eur gross. The final offer will be based on experience, skills and overall match.
