We are currently strengthening our team with a Junior AI / Python Developer for a long-term project with a reference client.

Your main responsibilities:

• Develop and support backend solutions using Python, Java and SQL
• Participate in the development and integration of AI / Machine Learning models, including predictive solutions
• Support the full AI lifecycle: data collection, data cleaning, preprocessing, model training and evaluation
• Develop and consume REST APIs
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle
• Collaborate in projects developed from scratch, contributing to solution design and implementation
• Work within Agile (Scrum) teams, collaborating with developers, data and business stakeholders
• Ensure good development practices, code quality and version control using Git

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Informatics Engineering or similar
• Strong foundations in Python and SQL; knowledge of Java is a plus
• Interest or hands-on experience with Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs and software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with data processing and validation concepts
• Experience or academic exposure to Docker and version control (Git)
• Analytical mindset and strong willingness to learn and grow
• Fluency in Portuguese and English (minimum B2)

Nice to have:

• Experience with predictive models or academic/trainee AI projects
• Knowledge of Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar libraries
• Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure or equivalent)
• Experience with Excel data analysis or data-driven decision making
