Responsibilities

• Owning and improving our CI/CD pipelines to keep builds fast, reliable, and reproducible
• Automating build, test, and release workflows for embedded Linux images
• Maintaining and extending our Yocto‑based OS builds for OAK edge AI devices
• Writing test scripts and tooling (C, Python, Bash), including C/C++ build workflows (Make/CMake)
• Contributing to Linux userspace and kernel‑level changes when needed
• Supporting bootloader and bring‑up flows for all the future OAK edge AI devices
• Jumping in quickly when issues arise and driving them to resolution

Requirements

• Experience with CI/CD systems and DevOps practices
• A curious mindset - you like understanding why things work
• A sense of urgency - you don’t let blockers sit
• A delivery focus - you care about getting working solutions into the hands of users
• Basic familiarity with embedded systems or hardware‑adjacent development
• Solid Linux knowledge (userspace, system internals, cross‑compilation)
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code (C, Python, Bash)

Nice to Have

• Yocto experience
• U‑Boot or other bootloader knowledge
• Kernel development exposure (drivers, patches, configs)
• Low‑power or performance‑optimization experience
• Familiarity with computer vision or edge AI pipelines
