As regulatory frameworks across Europe continue to evolve, we are strengthening our compliance leadership and are seeking an experienced Crypto Compliance Lead to oversee and enhance our digital asset compliance strategy.

• Lead and oversee the firm’s cryptocurrency compliance framework, ensuring alignment with EU and Slovenian regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain AML, KYC, and transaction monitoring procedures for digital asset operations.
• Monitor regulatory developments including MiCA and other EU digital asset regulations, translating them into actionable internal policies.
• Conduct internal compliance audits and risk assessments related to crypto trading, custody, and DeFi activities.
• Collaborate with legal, trading, product, and operations teams to embed compliance controls into crypto workflows.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inquiries and external compliance reviews.
• Provide compliance training and guidance to internal stakeholders.

• Proven experience in crypto compliance, AML, or regulatory risk within digital assets or fintech.
• Strong knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks, including MiCA, AMLD, and FATF guidelines as they relate to virtual assets.
• Experience implementing KYC/AML systems and transaction monitoring for cryptocurrency businesses.
• Solid understanding of blockchain technology, crypto trading operations, wallets, custody solutions, and DeFi protocols.
• Analytical mindset with strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to operate independently in a fully remote environment.
