We offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a well-established international pharmaceutical organization in Allschwil. This position is offered on a fixed-term basis from April through December 2026 and focuses on ensuring accurate, efficient, and compliant payroll operations, social insurance administration, and comprehensive HR support within a dynamic international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management: Collect, validate, and transmit payroll data; review and approve payroll results; coordinate monthly salary payments and postings with Finance; act as the primary contact for external payroll providers.
Social Insurance & Benefits: Manage employee registrations and deregistrations; administer family, paternity, disability, accident, and sickness benefits; liaise with insurance providers.
Pension & Work Permits: Coordinate pension fund activities (new hires, terminations, salary changes, work percentage updates); manage work permits for third-country nationals and cross-border commuters.
HR Administration & Reporting: Support onboarding and offboarding processes; manage employment contracts and personnel files; maintain and validate data in Workday and Abacus; prepare monthly HR reports and ad-hoc analyses.
Compliance & Audits: Ensure adherence to Swiss labor law and tax/social security regulations; support internal and external audits and year-end reconciliations.
Employee & System Support: Prepare employment references; provide support for Abacus and other HR systems; contribute to process improvements and ensure up-to-date HR documentation.
Your Profile:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field. HR Specialist with Federal Diploma or Payroll CAS Expert is preferred.
Experience: 5–6 years of experience in HR operations and payroll, including Swiss social security. Strong hands-on experience with Workday and Abacus is required. Pharmaceutical industry experience is an advantage.
Languages: Fluent in English; French is a plus
