We are recruiting a Data Security & DLP Engineer for a large international organisation operating in a highly regulated environment.
This role is part of the Cyber Security team and focuses on the design, implementation and operation of data classification, information protection and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls across enterprise environments.
This is a hands-on role with strong exposure to cloud platforms and close interaction with security leadership and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain data classification and labelling frameworks
- Implement and operate DLP controls across cloud, email, web, endpoints and on-prem environments
- Configure and tune data discovery, labelling, encryption and access control policies
- Monitor, investigate and remediate data leakage incidents
- Optimise DLP platforms to reduce false positives and improve detection
- Translate regulatory and business requirements into effective technical controls
- Produce reporting and metrics for security leadership
- Collaborate with IT, Security and business teams
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with DLP and data classification solutions (Microsoft Purview, Varonis, Zscaler or equivalent)
- Solid experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure security environments
- Proven background in data protection, information security or cloud security
- Experience handling security incidents and data leakage investigations
- Good understanding of compliance and regulated environments
- Ability to work autonomously in complex environments
