We are looking for a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our development team.

• Design, implement, and maintain backend services and APIs written using Golang in a production environment
• Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers, QA, and product stakeholders
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Contribute to architectural discussions and technical decision-making
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues
• Monitor, trace, and debug production microservices to ensure a stable, zero-downtime platform
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the team

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other equivalent degree/experience
• 3+ years of professional software development experience
• Strong experience with at least one backend language (e.g. Java, Kotlin, Go, Python, or Node.js)
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs (or GraphQL)
• Experience with SQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Experience with automated testing (unit and integration tests)
• Lifelong learner - you are continuously researching tools, technologies, frameworks and best practices
• Mindful of quality attributes like maintainability, performance, security, scalability, usability and testability
• You carefully read the specifications and assignments and you like to take responsibility for your components from start to end 
• English fluency

• Exposure to message queues or event-driven systems (e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Experience with column oriented DBMSs or data warehouses (ex. Clickhouse, BigTable, Amazon Redshift)
• Familiarity with distributed systems fundamentals (scalability, reliability, performance)
• Experience with command line and Unix systems
• Experience working with container technologies such as Docker 
• Comfortable working with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines
