Assignment Description
Specialist in Azure API Management and integration platforms.
Background and assignment:
Integration Platforms establishes and manages common integration platforms to support the Group's overall information supply needs. There are currently established on-premise platforms (Event/messaging, API management, integration service development) in the RedHat OpenShift environment. A common API Management Platform (APIM) in Azure (PaaS) will now be established, with a cohesive offering for all business units and development teams. The focus is on creating a modern, user-friendly and secure platform with a high degree of automation and self-service.
Relevant knowledge/experience:
Solid experience in provisioning and managing API Management platforms in Azure (APIM) in larger organizations

Background and assignment:

Relevant knowledge/experience:
Solid experience in provisioning and managing API Management platforms in Azure (APIM) in larger organizations
- Deep technical expertise in Azure, especially APIM, as well as related services (e.g., Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Key Vault)
- Experience in designing and implementing solutions with Application Gateway for load balancing, security (WAF), SSL management, and global traffic management of APIs
- Experience in designing and implementing Developer Experience and self-service mechanisms and processes, including:
- API configuration and publishing
- CI/CD pipelines and automation (preferably reusable templates)
- Repository structure and versioning
- Knowledge of API portals, security and traffic management (authentication, authorization, rate limiting, etc.), monitoring/logging and API guidelines/best practices
- Ability to abstract technical complexity and create user-friendly solutions for development teams
- Experience with hybrid environments and integration between on-premise and cloud-based platforms is a merit
- Good understanding of information security and compliance in cloud environments
- Self-motivated and initiative-taking, with the ability to drive the work forward in collaboration with internal teams and other consultants
- Communicative and pedagogical - can explain technical solutions to different target groups
- Structured and solution-oriented
