Role Title: Senior Project Manager – IT (Contract Billing)

Location: Stockholm, Sweden (Occasional travel to Solna office required)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead strategically important IT transformation initiatives within the Contract Billing team under Customer IT Nordics. The role focuses on delivering business-critical IT solutions that support billing, contract management, CRM, and customer experience processes, closely aligned with the meter-to-cash value chain and Nordic regional customer solutions.

This position requires a highly structured, proactive leader with strong stakeholder management capabilities at senior management level and proven experience in managing complex technical projects, preferably within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage IT projects of varying size and complexity within Customer IT Nordics.
• Own end-to-end project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Define project design including scope, objectives, deliverables, budget, timelines, and resource commitments.
• Translate strategic project targets into structured project plans and actionable activities.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and facilitate decision-making processes.
• Ensure professional risk and dependency management.
• Manage third-party vendors and contracting where applicable.
• Maintain full budget accountability and resource management responsibility.
• Provide structured, audience-adapted reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
• Maintain complete and up-to-date project documentation.
• Use professional project management tools and methodologies.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and conduct lessons learned reviews.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with IT and business stakeholders.
• Secure high-quality project execution and value delivery.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Project Management.
• At least 5 years of proven experience managing complex technical projects and programs.
• Experience in IT transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of IT systems and technology landscapes.
• Experience in product development and/or design development.
• Strong stakeholder management skills at senior leadership level.
• Professional risk, budget, and dependency management expertise.
• Experience managing vendors and external partners.
• Sound understanding of SAP (beneficial).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to work independently.
• Structured and highly organized approach.
• Customer-focused mindset.
• Positive, solution-oriented, and proactive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills demonstrating tact, diplomacy, empathy, assertiveness, and rapport-building.
