Responsibilities and Impact
As a UX Designer, you will:
- Design user interfaces and experiences for web applications using Figma as the primary design tool
- Translate product requirements and user needs into wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity designs
- Collaborate closely with:
- Product Managers to understand business goals
- Frontend Engineers to ensure design feasibility and consistency
- Fellow designers in different time zones (ability to work async is essential) to maintain a cohesive design system
- Conduct UX research (lightweight usability testing, heuristic evaluations) to validate design decisions
- Contribute to and evolve our design system for consistency across the platform
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and deliver a great experience across devices
- Communicate design rationale clearly to stakeholders and developers
What We’re Looking For
Basic Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in UX/UI design for web applications or SaaS products
- Portfolio or links to the best work you’ve done
- Ability to demonstrate process, wireframes, and finished designs
- Experience designing dashboards and data visualization
- Proficiency in Figma (components, variants, auto‑layout, prototyping)
- Strong understanding of UX principles, visual hierarchy, and responsive design
- Ability to create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and consistent UI designs
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work with cross‑functional teams
- Autonomy to oversee a project or feature end-to-end
- Basic knowledge of design handoff for developers (e.g., Figma Inspect, tokens)
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, CSS) for better collaboration
- Understanding of accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Knowledge of motion design or micro‑interactions is a plus
