Job Description
Scorpios Bodrum is seeking a reliable Human Resources Officer with experience in the Hospitality Industry to support the day-to-day activities of our HR Department. This role involves handling a variety of personnel-related administrative duties, with a focus on the pre-opening phase. The successful candidate will serve as the link between HR managers and employees, ensuring smooth communication and timely resolution of all queries. Overall, the HR Officer should ensure that the HR department is organized and operates efficiently, with the core objective of attracting, employing, maintaining, and engaging talented employees

Responsibilities
Pre-Opening Responsibilities
- Participate in creating comprehensive HR strategies that align with Scorpios Group's objectives, focusing on recruitment, training, and organizational culture.
- Draft clear and comprehensive job descriptions for all upcoming positions. Prepare recruitment materials and advertisements to attract top talent.
- Utilize HR management systems to track employee records, attendance, and payroll systems, ensuring they are in place for the opening.
- Assist with everyday HR functions and duties, offering administrative support to the Assistant Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Director
- Keep up-to-date employee records (contracts, hiring documents, bank account information etc.) in compliance with the Scorpios policies and Turkish legislation.
- Act as the first point of contact for employees' queries or job-related issues, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Assist in managing employee attendance and working schedules, ensuring staffing levels are maintained efficiently.
- Support the payroll process by ensuring that all employee hours, benefits, and deductions are accurately recorded and processed.
- Organize communication with prospective candidates, schedule interviews, and oversee the overall hiring process, from posting job ads to removing them once positions are filled.
- Participate in the creation of onboarding and training materials, ensuring new hires are effectively integrated into the company.
Requirements
- Minimum two years' experience in HR Assistance or relevant role, in the Hospitality Industry.
- Degree in Human Resources Management or psychology.
- Solid understanding of basic Human Resources functions and duties.
- Solid knowledge of Turkish labour laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required; familiarity with Human Resource Management Systems (Ceridian) will be considered a plus.
- Good command of the English language. Knowledge of additional languages will be viewed as a beneficial skill.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment of a face passed environment.
- Extrovert personality with strong interpersonal and people skills, complemented by excellent organizational skills.
- Positive attitude and the ability to remain efficient under pressure
