Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Cupertino, California and various unanticipated locations throughout the USA. Develop applications and frameworks, contributing to different levels of the engineering stack throughout the development process. Collaborate with Design, Product Marketing, and QA teams to discuss technical and product decisions. Assess product direction feasibility, and suggest alternatives to technically complex features. Build and test software that runs on Apple Watch and iPhone. Test the code on device and through automated tests before putting it up for review. Review other people's code and make suggestions if needed before approving it. Manage any issues and bugs that get filed regarding the software that the team builds and manages. Keep track and make sure they are correctly categorized in terms of priority and what part of the code it affects. Use the newest software and hardware before it is released. Create a handoff document that summarizes the new software changes and the expected behavior and what needs to be tested. Apply new changes that are implemented within the framework and utilize the newest development APIs and coding paradigms. Analyze the app holistically along with individual features to identify and fix performance issues in the code. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,365 - $220,900/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field or related field.
- Education and/or experience must include:
- Using Swift to develop end user applications.
- Proficiency in UI frameworks like SwiftUI to create end user experiences.
- Using performance tools to improve memory performance.
- Triage and investigate issues and bugs in software to identify issues in software and frameworks.
- Object Oriented Design to apply the principles concretely in codebases.
- Provide detailed pull request feedback on peer software changes, analyzing for code quality, potential bugs, risk, and stylistic choices.
- Accurately estimate work for project work and improvements.
- Using databases to store and retrieve data.
- Demo and present software project to leadership and peers, answering follow up questions, and incorporating feedback.
- Ability to work cross functionally to design and build intuitive user interfaces.
